Well, I have to admit, being on the other side of the camera is not as fun as taking the pictures. Ugh. It doesn't help that the last time that Mike + I had our photos taken together (without kids in tow) was at our wedding, nine years ago and quite a few pounds lighter. It is a reality check, let me tell you!
We've been wanting to have some promotional shots done to put up on our website and blog for a while now, but never really got around to it. We got motivated when we were approached by Leon from Colorati. He wants to highlight our studio on his blog. Colorati is an amazing company that we have hired to help us with all of our wedding image processing. For those photographers lurking out there, I would check them out and tell Leon that we sent you! Colorati's service is going to allow us to spend more time shooting, taking care of our clients, our family and we cannot forget – each other. Not to mention shooting more and continuing to design great albums. Last year Mike and I would get so overwhelmed by color correcting over 1000-1800 images per wedding. We have big goals for this year and have learned from our mistakes. With Colorati, we are beginning to see blue skies!
Jim Gill, one of the photographers that Mike shares studio space with, was kind enough to take these shots for us. We love them Jim! Thanks so much!
After the great session that we had with Katie and Doug, we had to utilize the space for ourselves.
I couldn't not include this photo. It is so typical!
