Abbie + Brian Get Married!!!

It was so great to be a part of Abbie + Brian's wedding. They are two of the most gracious people that we have met and are now lucky enough to call them neighbors!  (They just moved in around the corner.)  

Daffodil Parker did a fantastic job on the flowers!

"World's tallest woman get's married!"  Seriously, Abbie is so tall and beautiful, but when she stood on a chair to try to let the slight wrinkles un-wrinkle... well, this is what happened.  We were all in hysterics!

I love the look on Abbie's face as she is seeing Brian for the first time.

The was a beautiful breeze on Saturday!  :o)  

Abbie + Brian we are so glad that we could be a part of such an important day. We are even more excited to have you as neighbors!  We will bring some beer soon!  :o)

For some reason our website is down. We are hosted by hostmonster and all of hostmonster is down as well.  Not a good sign.  I am not sure for how long things will be down. I will keep you posted.

Emily + Mike

Emily + Mike were married last Saturday in the sculpture garden on the rooftop of MMOCA. It was another beautiful sunny day with a great blue sky. Such a change from the rain filled spring that we had. We had such a great time working with them. Everyone had such great energy – especially when you get four sisters together!

Emily + Mike had everyone hold hands to create an unbroken chain during the ceremony. It was a really unique and special ceremony.

The great thing about MMOCA is how often things change. It was such a surprise to see these bright streams of color.

Another uber cool thing was they had their reception at the Majestic Theatre.

Rebecca + George

We spent last friday with the fantastic Rebecca + George! Their day was filled with fast moving kids (and adults)  and lots of laughs! 

I can't remember what George was laughing about here, but it must have been funny!

This little sweetheart was so much fun.

I love it when couples hug after the first kiss. There is always something so emotional about it.

"Go stand in the grass."  They gave us a hard time about this, but we are pretty happy with the results.

The room at the Lake Windsor Country Club was stunning.

Ana + Eric

Ana + Eric's wedding was so intimate and emotional. It is not everyday that I have to wipe my tears. 

Ana was absolutely stunning!

Getting into her dress was quite the production. She was surrounded by so many helpful friends and family. I can still hear their laughter!

This is not the church that they got married in, but Mike and I have been eyeing this door for a couple of years now. We are pretty happy with the results!

And lastly, the rings. Very appropriate for two pilots!

Ana + Eric: We had such a fun time with you two. It was impossible to narrow down images that went into your slideshow! We know that you will have many exciting adventures together!

Erin + Collin

Erin + Collin got married on his Grandparent's farm in Platteville this past Saturday. Mike + I just LOVE shooting farm weddings. 

A while ago I mentioned that every couple has a "thing" that is special to just them. Well, Erin + Collin's thing is the dip! Collin loves to surprise Erin with a dip now and then.  And if she is lucky, there is a big kiss at the end of it.

**Note: none of the dips featured below were scripted. It was all Collin! Plus, we don't believe in scripting.  :o)

They got married under the old "climbing tree," which is now called the "wedding tree."

Erin had such great details. So simple, but so personal.

Abe - 6 months

I can't believe Abe is already 6 months! How time files! Mike couldn't believe how much he has changed since his last session at 3 months! He is looking more and more like his Dad!  We can't wait to see how much he has changed at his nine month session.

Erica + Scott

We were blessed with another wonderful wedding this past Saturday with another amazing couple!  How did we get it so good?  We are having such a blast this summer. Not only was Erica + Scott's day on time, it was ahead of schedule – practically unheard of in this industry!  We finally got a chance to work with Judy Schreiber. Erica and her Mom positively glowed about Judy and now we know why – everything was perfect.

Once again, another beautiful dress from Premiere Couture.

I just loved the green and purple that Erica had through out the wedding. It is such a great color combination!

The ceremony was on the rooftop of the Monona Terrace. We were afraid that it was going to be too hot, but it was lovely. Nice warm light and a soft breeze.

One of the best parts about Jewish weddings is the Hora. Two words: Total Insanity!

Erica + Scott, you two were so calm, relaxed and easy to be with. Thank you for sharing your day with us.
